To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (preferred: Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field)
  • Have 3+ years of OEM sales experience such as test and measurement equipment and/or sensing technologies such as temperature, pressure, flow, vibration sensors, calibration tools, and related technologies.
  • Have a proven track record of success in a Business-to-Business sales environment, with experience selling hardware to preferred industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or research.
  • Have an understanding of regional business practices specifically in Southeast region and the customer needs in this area with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical decision-makers.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of technical solutions clearly.
  • Possess great negotiation and closing skills and know how to navigate and hunt for new opportunities.
  • Have proficiency in using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and sales reporting tools.
  • Have the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
  • Be a Hunter, on the road looking for new opportunities.
