What you will do: In this dynamic position you will be a valued member of Peak’s core offerings and make proactive recommendations to sophisticated clients and Peak leadership based on industry and project landscape knowledge. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight & Execution Assist the Senior Owner’s Representatives (SOR) and Regional Principals (RP) in developing detailed project plans and budgets and manage weekly updates, ensuring team effectiveness. Oversee the Associate Owner’s Representative (AOR) in managing and resolving complex change orders. Conduct due diligence and discovery for all new projects with the AOR’s assistance, ensuring vendor and GC selections meet project standards. Negotiate and provide recommendations while offering creative insights on value engineering. Stakeholder & Team Management Work with SOR on client interactions, engagements, and managing challenging conversations. Oversee consultant and vendor coordination, ensuring contributions align with project objectives while providing guidance on design and construction plans. Mentor and provide guidance to AORs, fostering individual and team growth while implementing constructive feedback under SOR mentorship. Work with SOR to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders for future business opportunities. Facilitate accurate policies for clients and projects, ensuring budget changes are reflected and mentoring the AOR in understanding policies. Operational & Administrative Excellence Co-manage all project kick-offs with SOR and work in tandem with the AOR to prepare meeting agendas, review meeting minutes for accuracy, and ensure thorough project documentation. Monitor the AOR’s file management, ensuring project data is organized and accessible, while managing documentation processes efficiently. Ensure accuracy and consistency in AOR’s use of Salesforce, verifying data integrity and project functionality. Utilize project management tools and data for effective planning and execution, ensuring seamless operations. Required Experience and Skills 6-8 years of real estate experience in high-end residential architecture, construction, and or owners representation/project management (Ideally with projects over $10mil in GC costs) Bachelor's degree. Comprehensive understanding of the design & construction process with knowledge of all team members involved. Strong contract negotiation and administration skills, with the ability to oversee consultant and vendor coordination. Advanced proficiency in reading architectural, structural, and electrical plans, as well as shop drawings. Can independently project manage with little to no oversight. Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring team members Ability to navigate challenging client conversations and act as a trusted advisor in decision-making. Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, Docusign, Adobe, and virtual meeting platforms. Adept at communicating with clients in all forms of communication (written, verbal, presenting, etc.) and knows when to escalate to leadership. Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, work both independently and as a team member, and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized and efficient manner. High emotional intelligence, ability to read a room and manage numerous personalities. Operate in an empathic, collaborative, and rigorous manner. Ability to respond to Peak team members, external team members and clients quickly.
