About the Job: The Mgr, Enterprise Communications will lead the internal, executive, and external communications strategies for Southern NH Health (SNHH). This leadership position is responsible for helping to shape the voice of our health system, both internally to staff and externally to the media, community, and industry stakeholders

WHO YOU ARE / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism required.
  • Experience: Five (5)+ years of experience in healthcare communications, with leadership responsibilities. Previous experience in healthcare or regulated environments preferred.
  • Skills: Strong writing, editing, media pitching, project management, and storytelling skills. Media relations expertise. Familiarity with project management platforms (i.e., Asana), intranet tools, digital content platforms, and social media strategy.
  • Abilities: Ability to organize, collaborate, and think strategically.
Responsibilities
  • Write and distribute press releases, op-eds, articles, and sponsored content to elevate SNHH’s reputation.
  • Coordinate media relations and prepare leaders for interviews with talking points, media training, and message development.
  • Manage award nominations, speaker submissions, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Develop social media content in partnership with digital, marketing, and creative teams.
  • Collaborate with service line departments to ensure consistent brand voice and message.
  • Support communications for events, including speaking engagements, conference prep, and branded materials.
  • Lead executive communications efforts, including writing system-wide email messages and leadership updates.
  • Draft thought leadership content for platforms such as LinkedIn, organizational blogs, and internal publications.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leaders on memos and board presentations.
  • Manage internal communications platforms, including the organization’s intranet, employee newsletters, annual reports, and HR communications.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement campaigns aligned with SNHH’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Support internal efforts and employee storytelling that reflect and reinforce our culture and purpose.
