THE ROLE Chetola Resort is seeking a friendly and dependable Spa Attendant (Part-time, W2 employee) to support the daily operations of our Spa and Wellness Center. Spa Attendants are key contributors to the guest experience by ensuring a serene, clean, and well-stocked environment while delivering warm, personalized service throughout each guest’s visit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a team-oriented atmosphere, takes pride in presentation and organization, and is passionate about wellness and hospitality. Required availability includes the ability to work some weekends and holidays, with scheduling that may include rotating weekend shifts based on business needs. This role is scheduled based on spa demand, with shifts typically occurring during morning through early evening hours. Evening availability is important, with spa operations generally running until 7:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and until 6:00 PM Sunday through Thursday. WHAT YOU’LL DO Guest Experience & Service Support Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, sincere welcome and maintain eye contact when interacting Provide spa orientation tours, explaining amenities, services, and answering guest questions Issue lockers, robes, and slippers, and escort guests to locker areas Anticipate guest needs and provide towels, beverages, and amenities proactively Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns professionally and courteously Deliver accurate, timely responses to ensure complete guest satisfaction Support guest check-in and retail transactions using the spa’s point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy and a seamless guest experience Spa Operations & Facility Excellence Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of locker rooms, lounges, and treatment areas Prepare and reset treatment rooms according to spa protocols Monitor spa areas continuously to ensure a calm, clean, and well-maintained environment Stock supplies and amenities; maintain inventory lists and communicate needs to leadership Assist with laundry operations, linens, and overall spa presentation Report maintenance issues or operational concerns promptly Utilize spa systems and tools to support daily operations, scheduling, and service flow Team Collaboration & Business Support Review daily schedules and assist with flow of guest appointments Support therapists and leadership to ensure seamless transitions between services Actively promote spa services, treatments, retail products, and promotions Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by management Attend and participate in team trainings and meetings Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative, high-quality work environment Requirements ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN ACTION At The Spa at Chetola, excellence is reflected in every moment of the guest experience. As a Spa Attendant, you will elevate the environment through consistent attention to detail in the following areas: Arrival & Orientation Experience: Guests are greeted promptly, provided with clear, confident guidance, and seamlessly oriented to the spa environment Locker Room & Lounge Presentation: Spaces are continuously monitored to remain spotless, organized, fully stocked, and tranquil at all times Amenities & Inventory Control: Robes, slippers, towels, and supplies are always available, properly presented, and replenished before they run low Treatment Room Readiness: Rooms are reset quickly and thoroughly between services with clean linens, proper setup, and a calming ambiance Cleanliness & Sanitation Excellence: High-touch surfaces, locker areas, and shared spaces are consistently cleaned to uphold the highest hygiene standards Guest Flow & Transitions: Guests move smoothly through their spa journey with no confusion, delays, or gaps in service Professional Presence: A polished appearance, calm demeanor, and attentive body language create a sense of ease and trust for every guest Communication & Awareness: Proactive communication with the team ensures no detail is missed and every guest need is anticipated and met This attention to detail is what transforms a simple visit into a rejuvenating, memorable experience.
