SPA COORDINATOR FOR THE NEW KLAR SO NORDIC SPA AT ELKHORN RESORT
The Klar So Nordic Spa is a complement to our existing spa facilities and we are looking for an energetic, friendly, and active individuals who can multi-task, work in a team environment as well as independently. This year-round position can be full-time or part-time. Working evenings and weekends is a must. Experience in retail and customer service will be taken into consideration, but is not required.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Coordinate therapists and organize their schedules, time off, breaks;
- Perform administrative tasks related to spa reception and manager requests;
- Coordinate and operate the laundry;
- Regularly check the spa area for cleanliness, safety and client needs.
- Coordinate with housemen, maintenance, housekeeping and duty managers all needs of the SPA and insert in the system when needed;
- Inspect the Spa and fix any issues or coordinate with other departments to be fixed;
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management;
- Train new coordinators and therapists;
- Make sure all computers and system are working or request maintenance;
- Supervise the morning, afternoon, evening and closing shifts and report to the manager and supervisor any problems;
- Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures;
- Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment;
- Send a request supply to the manager when the stock are in the minimum level to order;
- Ensure that the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy;
- Keep up to date with offered treatments;
- Answer phones and e-mails;
- Provide callers and guests with detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, and hours of operation;
- Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments;
- Make sure that gift shop area and guest areas are in good order and tidy;
- Good working knowledge of English is required;
- Other duties as assigned;
Training and a uniform will be provided.
