JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Spa & Gym Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests using our wellness facilities. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service by greeting clients, managing appointments, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and supporting daily operations of the spa and gym.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in a similar front-desk or customer service role, preferably in a spa, gym, or hotel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using booking software, MS Office, and POS systems.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of spa treatments and fitness terminology is an advantage.
  • CPR or First Aid certification is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests and members in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Manage bookings for spa treatments, personal training sessions, and fitness classes.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Process payments and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception, spa, and gym common areas.
  • Ensure all guests are properly registered and have signed the necessary forms and waivers.
  • Provide tours of the facility and explain membership options and treatment services.
  • Coordinate with therapists, trainers, and housekeeping to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor inventory of retail and spa products and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Follow company health & safety and confidentiality guidelines at all times.
