We are currently looking for a full time (45hrs/pwk) Spa Housekeeping Manager to join our Spa management team in supporting our dedicated housekeeping team at our award-winning Spa.
Herb House Spa is located within the grounds of Lime Wood - a boutique country house set in the heart of the New Forest National Park,Lyndhurst,Hampshire.
At Herb House,we are dedicated to natural well-being,inspired by our forest surroundings. Our Spa is designed over three levels,
incorporating a massive Sauna,indoor Hydro Pool,Mud House,a steaming outdoor Hot Pool,eight spacious single treatment rooms and two magnificent double treatment rooms.
We also have a state-of-the-art rooftop gym with the very latest Technogym equipment,a 16-metre ozone treated indoor lap pool with glass doors overlooking the garden. We also have a hands and Feet room for manicure and pedis as well as a workout studio offering an extensive range of fitness classes to our guests and spa members.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE,BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Proactive and hands on approach,leading your team from the front to deliver exceptional levels & standards of cleanliness across all areas of the Spa.
  • A strong understanding of hygiene legislation and best practise.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • An ability to converse with Hotel Guests and Spa Members.
  • Oversee all laundry requirements including stock take and quality control.
  • Overall responsibility for the preparation and cleanliness of all areas in the spa.
  • Manage and inspect the performance of the team,leading by example and providing development opportunities.
  • Liaise with suppliers,maintain excellent supplier relationships.
  • Maintain stock,overseeing stock control and ordering.
  • Work closely with all members of the spa management team to provide a friendly and efficient service.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the condition of all furnishings,fittings and equipment are in good order liaising with the maintenance team as/when required.
  • Controlling Departmental costs.
