At Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa – Malvern we’re proud to be a single unit, locally owned and operated franchise where the owners are actively involved in day to day operations. We believe that people come first; our team, our clients, and our community. We are seeking a full-time spa manager for our developing spa. The ideal spa manager candidate is a strong leader, who can drive results and pivot to meet the needs of the spa, goal oriented, and growth minded with a proven background in sales management, spa operations, and customer service. Ideal candidates for this role demonstrate the following attributes: • Growth Focused Leadership - the spa manager will be running the front desk of the spa, leading the estheticians and massage therapists, and working closely with our owners to produce both a client and team focused culture. • Member Conversion and Customer Service-As part of the spa management team, you will lead by example. You enjoy connecting with clients to offer them individualized sales solutions. You also understand how to coach and motivate a sales team. • Promote Health and Wellness – You understand, or want to learn more, about the benefits of massages and facials. You are comfortable educating members and guests on services, upgrades, products, and memberships. • Multi-Tasking Expertise- You have experience handling or assisting with administrative tasks- including (but not limited to) payroll, scheduling, inventory management, and sales reporting. • Passion to Drive Results – You understand the impact of your actions and flex your strategy to drive results, and accommodate the needs of the business. Spa Manager Performance will be based on the following metrics: • Membership Conversion – you understand how to coach and motivate your spa team to educate and delight your clients, so they join our Life Style Membership Program. • Revenue – you understand how to drive revenue via scheduling, marketing and upgrading services. • Recruiting – you are passionate about building a team of passionate spa professionals! • Operations – you measure and deliver results, create a strong member base, and deliver a consistently excellent client experience! What you need to succeed in this role: • 2 to 3 years management experience in the salon/spa, retail, or hospitality industry • Flexible schedule – this role requires a variety of hours including nights and weekends. • Passion for promoting the benefits of massage and skin care services. • Ability to manage different roles and personalities.
