KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified Spa Therapist with hands-on treatment experience (required).
  • Knowledge and experience with ESPA products and treatments (preferred).
  • Experience with Phorest spa system (preferred).
  • Proven track record in driving spa sales and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Organised, reliable, and self-motivated with a passion for wellness and guest care.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Spa Manager will oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring the highest standards of service, treatment delivery, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Spa Therapist with strong hands-on experience, knowledge of ESPA treatments and products, and familiarity with the Phorest spa management system.
This role requires a hard-working, driven individual who can motivate the team, maximise spa sales, and deliver an exceptional guest journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, train, and inspire the spa team to deliver outstanding guest service and treatment standards.
  • Ensure effective day-to-day running of the spa, including scheduling, bookings, and client management.
  • Drive spa sales and revenue through treatment promotions, retail product sales, and package development.
  • Deliver treatments (will not be normally be rota’d on) maintaining hands-on therapy skills.
  • Manage inventory of ESPA products and liaise with suppliers.
  • Oversee use of the Phorest spa system to manage bookings, client records, and loyalty programmes.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all spa areas.
  • Create and implement initiatives to increase client retention and attract new business.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote spa packages and seasonal campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
