Job Description Tierra Santa Healing House at Faena New York is preparing to open its doors and is building its founding team. Rooted in ancient healing traditions and modern wellness, Tierra Santa offers a holistic, guest-centered approach to well-being. The Spa Receptionist serves as the welcoming presence and operational hub of the spa, ensuring a seamless, calm, and elevated guest experience from arrival through departure. This role manages bookings, guest flow, and front-desk operations while maintaining a serene environment consistent with Faena New York’s luxury wellness standards. The Spa Receptionist balances refined guest service with strong organizational and administrative skills. This is a full time position with an hourly compensation of $36.00 per hour. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival Manage check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Provide clear information regarding spa services, amenities, and policies Maintain a calm, polished demeanor that sets the tone for the spa experience Assist VIP guests and special requests in coordination with Spa leadership Manage spa appointments, cancellations, and modifications using the booking system Maximize treatment utilization while maintaining proper pacing and therapist scheduling Confirm appointments and manage daily schedules for therapists and aestheticians Communicate guest preferences, notes, and special requests to the service team Process payments, gratuities, and retail purchases accurately Maintain guest profiles, notes, and service history in the system Support daily reporting, end-of-day reconciliation, and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and retail areas Educate guests on spa products and services, supporting retail sales Ensure retail displays are organized, stocked, and visually aligned with brand standards Assist with inventory tracking and restocking as needed Qualifications 1–3 years of front desk, spa, or luxury hospitality experience preferred Strong guest service and communication skills Familiarity with spa booking systems and POS platforms Comfortable handling payments and administrative responsibilities Professional appearance and demeanor SKILLS Warm, composed, and guest-focused presence Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Clear verbal and written communication Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift Medium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
