The Role… We are seeking an experienced Spa Receptionist to join our team at Babington House (BA11 3RW). As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our spa guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. Main Duties include: Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere at the spa reception area. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to guest inquiries, providing accurate and detailed information about our spa services, packages, and promotions. Maintain a clean and organised reception area Coordinate with spa therapists and other staff members to ensure a seamless flow of appointments and services. Assist in maintaining client records, including updating contact information and treatment preferences. Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, seeking appropriate resolutions and escalating issues as necessary. Collaborate with the spa management team to implement and maintain standard operating procedures and policies. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and supporting fellow team members as needed. What we are looking for in a Spa Receptionist... Strong interpersonal skills Customer / member experience focused Passionate about the industry and performing spa treatments. 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile Spa facility (preferred but not essential) Team player who communicates well with all colleagues Punctual, reliable and trustworthy Sense of urgency Yes, yes, yes mentality Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required Required Skills/Qualifications Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Ability to multitask and excel in a high-volume and demanding fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands. Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours. Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others. Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required Expected working hours for a Spa Receptionist 5 days per week, across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & close Travel: Approx. 30 minutes from Bath, 50 minutes from Bristol & 10 mins from Frome (No local transport from Frome)
