Kiku Wellness is a Japanese Zen-inspired day spa. We value stillness, renewal, and omotenashi (mindful hospitality), offering a serene environment where guests can truly relax and reconnect with themselves. We are currently seeking a Spa Receptionist / Guest Experience Host to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk: Welcome and check-in/out guests, prepare retail items or special requests before arrival
  • Reservations & Inquiries: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, manage bookings and schedules
  • Sales & Payments: Operate POS, process payments, promote memberships, gift cards, and retail products
  • Space Management: Maintain a clean and organized reception and lounge; assist with spa circuit cleaning between sessions
  • Guest Care: Serve tea, guide first-time visitors, and ensure guest comfort throughout their visit
  • Teamwork & Improvement: Share guest feedback with the manager, suggest improvements, and collaborate with staff for smooth operations
  • Administrative Support: Prepare newsletters, guest communications, and assist with other office-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, spa, or esthetics (2+ years preferred)
  • Japanese language ability preferred
  • Strong interest in Japanese culture (e.g., tea ceremony, Zen aesthetics) is an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and attentive to guest comfort
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency required (Google Drive, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Available to work evenings and weekends (e.g., 5:00pm–12:30am shifts)

Compensation & Benefits
