POSITION SUMMARY

As a Spa Receptionist at the luxurious Shiseido Spa within an iconic Hotel Cala di Volpe, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the spa’s front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and providing information about our treatments and services. You will play a crucial role in creating a serene and relaxing environment for our guests, enhancing their overall spa experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a spa or luxury hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in English and Italian. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using spa management software and other relevant technology is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    Success in this role requires creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, building positive relationships with guests and colleagues, following company policies, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, and upholding quality standards. The Spa Receptionist will be active and on their feet, taking a hands-on approach to their work. This includes moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Performing these tasks well, along with other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors, is essential to providing excellent service to our guests and supporting our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in all aspects of spa arrival/departure experience.
  • Schedule and manage spa appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and time.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Provide detailed information about spa treatments, services, and products.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Ensure the spa reception area is clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Promote and upsell spa services and products to enhance the guest experience.
  • Coordinate with spa therapists and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about Shiseido products and spa treatments.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
