In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming and greeting members and guests into the Spa, assisting them as needed, maintaining the cleanliness of the Spa facility, and overseeing all aspects of the Front Desk providing outstanding customer service and executing the Desert Mountain values and service standards. You will report directly to the Director of Spa.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detailed, and professional with the ability to help guests feel welcomed and relaxed, and possess excellent telephone etiquette, organization, and follow-up skills. Prior customer service experience in a spa and high-end club or resort is preferred. CPR certification preferred but required within 60 days of hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Required to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Required to stand or sit for long periods of time.
Responsibilities
  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the Spa facilities in a genuine, courteous, and service-oriented manner and provide an upscale service experience through name recognition, anticipating needs, and exceeding expectations.
  • Open and close the Spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Answer the phone promptly and professionally and use the member/ guest name throughout the phone conversation.
  • Accurately book, change and cancel Spa appointments.
  • Maintain knowledge and provide detailed descriptions of Spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation.
  • Issue Spa lockers, robes and slippers to members/guests and escort them to their lockers.
  • Provide orientation tour explaining Spa amenities offered and answering all questions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized Spa environment through consistent monitoring of the Spa facility.
  • Stock locker room supplies and amenities throughout the day.
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the Spa’s policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
