Role Overview The Spa Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality spa treatments and wellness services to guests, ensuring that each guest receives a relaxing and personalized experience. This role requires a thorough understanding of spa treatments, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere for clients. Key Accountabilities Deliver high-quality spa treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other specialized services, in line with spa standards and guests’ individual needs. Conduct pre-treatment consultations to assess guests’ wellness needs and recommend appropriate treatments or spa packages. Ensure an exceptional guest experience by clearly explaining treatment options, addressing questions, and creating a calm, welcoming, and relaxing environment. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in treatment rooms and spa areas, in accordance with company policies and health regulations. Use, handle, and maintain spa equipment, products, and supplies responsibly, ensuring they are in excellent condition at all times. Promote spa services and retail products, providing professional aftercare advice and recommending suitable products for home use when appropriate. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, acting as an ambassador of the spa’s values and philosophy. Handle guest feedback and concerns with discretion and professionalism, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues. Stay up to date with industry trends, new treatments, and product knowledge to continuously enhance service quality. Support the daily operations of the spa, including preparation of treatment areas, linen management, and restocking of products and consumables. Proven professional experience as a Spa Therapist, Massage Therapist, or in a similar role within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end wellness environment. Recognized certification or diploma in massage therapy and/or specialized spa treatments (e.g. facials, body therapies, holistic treatments). Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered a strong asset. Candidate’s Profile Professional, calm, and service-oriented demeanor.
