A Spa Therapist at SEVEN is a dedicated professional who provides a range of therapeutic treatments and wellness services to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being. Working within our luxurious wellness environment, the Spa Therapist plays a key role in ensuring each guest feels restored and cared for, embodying SEVEN’s philosophy of holistic health and elevated service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or certification in massage therapy, aesthetics, or a related field.
  • Training in specific therapies (e.g., aromatherapy, reflexology) is a plus.
  • Relevant work experience in a spa, wellness centre, or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of spa software systems and scheduling tools is beneficial.
  • Work hours will vary and may include weekends, evenings, and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
  • Physically demanding role involving standing, bending, and performing treatments for extended periods.

Retail and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about spa product lines and services to confidently recommend items to guests.
  • Support retail sales by educating clients about products that complement their treatments
Responsibilities

Wellness Treatments:

  • Perform a range of specialised spa treatments, including deep tissue massage, signature massage, dry cupping therapy, Madero therapy, and lymphatic drainage.
  • Tailor treatments to each guest’s needs while adhering to industry best practices, such as identifying contraindications and ensuring safe and effective delivery of therapies.
  • Customise treatments to meet individual client needs and preferences.

Guest Interaction:

  • Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Conduct pre-treatment consultations to understand health concerns or contraindications.Provide aftercare advice, including product recommendations and wellness tips.

Operational Excellence:

  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring a clean, relaxing, and hygienic environment.
  • Manage appointment schedules effectively, ensuring punctuality.
  • Handle spa products, tools, and equipment with care, adhering to safety standards.

Retail and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about spa product lines and services to confidently recommend items to guests.
  • Support retail sales by educating clients about products that complement their treatments.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other spa professionals, CRO, spa supervisor / managers, and therapists, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
