The O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat Lost World Spa invites passionate and experienced Massage Therapists to join our luxurious operations. The Lost World Spa is a destination spa located in the majestic Lamington National Park and provides a 5-star massage and beauty service to the guests of O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat.
We are committed to providing high quality relaxation, pampering and beauty treatments using natural Australian products delivered by professional, trained and experienced therapists. We believe that relaxation and rejuvenation are closely linked to nature and that our beautiful setting is an integral part of the process of reconnection with the healing powers of nature.

A successful candidate for the position will have the following skills or experience;

• Qualified Massage or Beauty Therapist
• Genuine interest in the health and well-being of guests
• Ability to maintain client records
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with guests and team members
• Knowledge of eco-friendly skin care products will be an advantage

Tasks and/or responsibilities of the position (you can add or remove tasks from the below list as relevant)

• soft tissue massage, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing
• massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury
• administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension
• assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice
• employing other techniques, such as acupressure or Shiatsu, and complementary aids, such as infra-red lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils and herbal and mineral therapies, to assist recovery
• assessing client’s physical condition and case history and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques

Additional training will be provided for the successful candidate.
