Description

Sleeping Beauty Salon Limited are looking for a passionate Spa & Massage Therapists to join our team based at our Radisson Blu location on the Royal Mile.
We have part-time or full-time contracts available on a permanent basis with excellent progression & training opportunities. Candidates must be able to work either Saturday or Sunday.
You will be qualified to NVQ 2/3, HNC or equivalent. Although beneficial no experience is required, we are a SQA training centre and are happy to take on college graduates and complete additional training.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Setup treatment room for the day, ensuring daily checklist is completed.
Carry out stock checks of treatment rooms and ensure necessary suppliers are restocked.
Carry out treatments to an excellent standard working towards financial targets.
Take ownership of treatment column to ensure no problems with bookings, that all clients have had any necessary patch tests and to build on rebooking or referrals to other therapists.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicating the Sleeping Beauty culture of service to clients and staff.
Assists with reception activities and ensures that all client bookings/bills are dealt with courteously and efficiently.
Ensures that accurate records are kept of all client data, that client cards are all completed on the tablet and that treatment notes are kept up to date.
Complies with GDPR policies at all times.
Reviews the notice area daily.
To ensure salon cleanliness and maintenance is in keeping with the company’s general policy on services.
Ensure equipment is maintained at all times and any issues are immediately reported to the salon manager.
Follow the health & safety procedures provided and risk assessments to ensure no unnecessary risk to yourself, colleagues or clients. Ensure junior staff are aware of health & safety procedures at all times.
To comply with standards of appearance and to be dressed in the correct uniform at all times whilst on duty.
Carries out training as and when required and participates in any required training.
