QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or higher.- Had experience of working in hardware product companies and internet companies, fully owned at least one functional team, not limited to marketing, project, product and etc.- Had proven experience of building a team from scratch (i.e. 0-1).- Strong product and user sensitivity, with the ability to balance B2B requirements and consumer-grade experience standards.- Familiar with workplace lifecycle technology including but not limited to: Smart office operation, Computer aided facility management platform, camera and sensors.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working in a matrix organization and a changing environment.- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.- Experience commercializing internal capabilities or building cross-functional platforms.- A passion for product innovation - in this case to be used to aid designing human-centered experiences that improve how people work.- Familiar with Bytedance culture.

About the Team:Our Space Intelligent Solutions Team is a dynamic and forward-thinking unit within the global Corporate Real Estate function, dedicated to revolutionizing ByteDance’s workplace through innovative smart hardware initiatives. We operate at the exciting intersection of space design, digital enablement, and data-driven decision-making, with a clear mission to shape the future of the company’s smart workspace.Responsibilities:- Manage a small global team that manages the current portfolio of smart hardware devices. The team engages with cross-functional stakeholders including internal R&D teams and coordinates with external partners to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of solutions.- Define the scope, functionality, and technical parameters of smart real estate hardware and peripheral devices to ensure user experience, integrating efficiency, and delivering quality solutions to meet business needs.- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends in smart hardware and IoT; identify innovation opportunities and translate insights into product strategies.- Lead requirement analysis and documentation across product development stages; prototype, design, and refine interaction flows and user journeys.- Utilize the project’s data dashboard to validate spatial inefficiencies, optimize design ratios, and inform resource allocation.- Lead workspace data analysis to inform spatial decisions across global sites.- Use data research, feedback, and observation to identify pain points; develop diagnosis and implementation plans for continuous improvement in the workplace, such as (but not limited to) adjustments to layout planning and improving booking efficiency.- Take ownership of pilot programmes and small-scale deployments; serve as project manager to oversee successful implementation.- Enhance employee experience by upgrading physical workspace elements and improving environmental quality.- Collaborate cross-functionally to align product vision with broader real estate and business objectives. Communicate insights, project outcomes, and strategic plans to senior leadership and cross-regional stakeholders.- Drive innovation throughout the Space Intelligent Solutions Team, finding new ways to measure optimization and impact the user experience positively.
