To support our mission, Raytheon Australia is currently seeking a motivated Space Maintenance & Operations Manager who is ready to join a diverse, talented and enthusiastic team of professionals in Exmouth, Western Australia focused on the Space Domain Awareness (SDA) SST and C-Band mission systems. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Space Maintenance & Operations Manager is responsible for leading a large diverse team of trade and technical professionals that directly support the SDA mission systems and critical supporting services including Mirror recoating facility, Central Power station and Fuel storage facilities. The role requirements include team performance, KPI management, customer liaison, scheduling, solution development and management of projects to satisfy contractual or internally scoped requirements. Key Responsibilities Leading and collaborating within a cross-functional environment to manage budget, resources and reporting to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities. Ensure Quality & EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies. Ensure that maintenance requirements and requests are planned, scheduled and managed in accordance with program priorities. Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure completion within budget, schedule and required quality outcomes. Practice excellent stakeholder management to maintain effective relationships. Act in accordance with company expectations relating to professional workplace behaviour. Skills, Experience and Qualifications Demonstrated experience keeping your teams safe, leading with safety as a core value. Experience supervising a team consisting of various trade and technical professions. You’ll be able to demonstrate experience managing maintenance in a systematic way to get the most out of the Assets you’re entrusted with. Exposure to Engineering Change Management processes. Our ideal candidate would have a Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Engineering in a related discipline.
