Job Description Grow your career with a global retailer as a Space Planner within our Merchandising team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time opportunity. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the team that manages and transforms the physical space of ALDI stores, shaping the customer experience through the strategic arrangement of products via planograms and floor plans. The Merchandising team is the unseen hand that guides our customers' journey within each store, ensuring a seamless, pleasing, and efficient shopping experience. You will collaborate with our Buying department to ensure that our planograms align with our broader business strategy. What does the role look like? Liaise with Buying teams in relation to category space and product positioning. Create, update and maintain store planograms using Spaceman software. Ensure adherence to the established merchandising principles to optimises sales and operational efficiency. Act as a central point of communication between the Buying department and the greater business. Collaborate with store teams to execute planograms builds and layout changes in-store as required. Qualifications Previous experience as a Merchandise Planner or similar. Prior demonstrated space planning experience and knowledge of planning systems (Spaceman) is highly regarded. Strong understanding of reporting and interpreting analytics to consider the larger picture. Prior experience in project management and implementation is an advantage. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
