Key Responsibilities Develop detailed space plans and layouts Collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to understand project requirements Conduct site assessments to gather necessary measurements and data Create 3D models and visualizations to present design concepts Prepare and present detailed design proposals to stakeholders Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations Optimize space usage for maximum efficiency and functionality Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the implementation phase Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed Evaluate post-occupancy feedback to improve future designs Analyse space utilization data to identify opportunities for improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp Strong understanding of building codes and regulations Experience with project management and coordination Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of sustainable design principles Previous experience in commercial or residential space planning Proven experience as a Space Planner or similar role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Familiarity with safety standards and building codes Strong organizational and project management skills 2 to 5 years of experience in drafting, design, space planning and test-fits.
