SPACEPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR The role of a Spaceport Operations Coordinator will be to effectively manage guest experience and administrative needs for the vehicle rental operation. You will help develop and implement effective customer service strategies and program optimization. The duties of Spaceport Operations Coordinator will include, but are not limited to: coordinating service operations, monitoring and motivating staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and engaging with customers. The Spaceport Operations Coordinator will support the mission by providing efficient transportation for employees with excellent customer service that will boost morale and productivity within SpaceX. RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule, track, and follow up on vehicle preventative and corrective maintenance appointments required through the company to ensure high vehicle reliability and performance Promote workflow consistency and accuracy while maintaining and reporting transportation KPI, metrics, and data Coordinate all vehicle requests and inquiries while communicating directly with customers via email, phone call, direct messaging, and in person Coordinate all off-site transportation requests, including Tesla rentals, team builders, and VIP tours, to ensure vehicle and driver availability Work with the leadership to ensure efficient driver scheduling and upcoming events that will require added staffing Assist with the resolution of incorrect data reporting by identifying inaccurate data points Update and utilize metrics to drive results as applicable with transportation personnel Work with spaceport supervisors and managers to ensure all metric-driven action requirements are completed Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints as required for internal and customer use Assist spaceport leadership and project teams with action item updates Support management of vehicle certifications and registration Support spaceport requisition creation for scheduled contract work Support projects or productivity development activities BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency certificate 1+ years of project experience PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of MS Office products Bachelor’s degree Experience in transportation logistics Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments SQL, PBI, and Tableau experience ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand for extended periods - 8+ hours Must be available for overtime, all shifts, and weekend work as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
