MINIMUM 1+ YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Elementary Bilingual Teacher proficient in Spanish to support 3rd-5th grade students in an elementary school setting. This full-time position runs from August 19, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in both English and Spanish to support bilingual and ESL learners.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse academic needs of 3rd-5th grade students.
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to foster language acquisition and academic development.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with an English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience teaching elementary-aged children, particularly in bilingual or ESL settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering student growth and engagement.
  • Ability to work full-time hours (35 hours per week) within the specified schedule.

  • Elementary school setting in Joliet, Illinois.
