Provide Spanish-English bilingual administrative support to a cutting-edge surgical practice. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in healthcare administration and work closely with a talented surgeon. You will help ensure smooth office operations through coordinating scheduling, insurance verification, billing and payments, and medical records. There is also potential for medical transcription work. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication abilities, and want to learn, this is the role for you! Responsibilities Contact insurance companies to verify benefits for patients in both Spanish and English. Remind patients to pay bills and follow up on outstanding balances with kindness and empathy. Organize patient records and accurately enter data into electronic medical record system. Provide medical transcription services like transcribing physician dictation and editing transcriptions. Schedule patient appointments Requirements Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English. Must be willing to video chat. Must have transcription experience​ Exceptional phone manner and ability to communicate with patience and empathy. Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage scheduling and records. Healthcare administration experience preferred but not required. Comfortable learning new software and systems quickly. Passion for healthcare and delivering great patient experiences.
