DESCRIPTION

Bilingual Medical Receptionist (English/Spanish) is responsible for managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting patients with medical inquiries, all while providing exceptional customer service and translating between English and Spanish.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months in the BPO supporting both English and Spanish speaking callers
  • Previous experience in healthcare programs preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Collect complete Patient’s demographic information; full name, address, email, phone numbers, and complete insurance information; ID/policy number, guarantor information
  • Verify patients preferred pharmacy and imaging, in qucikview
  • Verify patients demographics, and insurance info during every call
  • Make reminder calls for appointments.
  • Call patients for follow up appointments
  • Collect on all copays, outstanding balances
  • Call to remind patients of outstanding balances Remind patients of any upcoming appointments and or collect balances before ending every call
  • Review scheduling guidelines and schedule notes before scheduling appointments.
  • Collecting complete messages and sending them to appropriate medical team.
