This is a remote position. Virtual Rockstar is hiring a Spanish Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant on behalf of a US-based industrial rehabilitation and physical therapy practice. The Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant will support front office operations by handling call greeting and routing, appointment reminder calls, patient communication, and administrative coordination. This role is designed to improve patient experience, reduce call volume for onsite staff, and ensure smooth daily clinic operations. Responsibilities Call Handling & Patient Communication Professionally greet incoming calls and route calls to the appropriate department or staff member Conduct patient appointment reminder calls Handle call routing when patients request to reschedule appointments Respond to basic patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, and logging all communications Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Administrative & Clinical Support Request patient diagnostic results from physician offices as needed Record meeting minutes during internal meetings when requested Support clinic staff with administrative follow-ups related to patient care Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs Scheduling & Coordination Assist with appointment coordination and schedule updates Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth daily workflows Escalate urgent or complex issues to the appropriate team members Tools & Systems Used QEMR Microsoft Office products Nextiva phone system Email and internal communication tools Requirements Prior experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative professional Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong phone presence with clear, professional English Must be bilingual Honest and reliable with time management and availability Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Must be able to work Mountain Time (MST) hours (8:00am to 5:00pm) Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
