Pied Piper Realty is seeking a results-driven Leasing Specialist with an active Real Estate License to support our rapidly growing rental portfolio. We currently have 100+ vacant units, and we’re looking for someone who can focus on leasing and occupancy goals above all else. The ideal candidate is experienced in high-volume leasing, property management, and tenant relations — with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver fast leasing turnaround. Bilingual Spanish & English required. Location: Freeport IL Responsibilities: Serve as primary point of contact for prospective tenants Handle all leasing inquiries and follow-ups promptly Schedule and conduct unit showings (in-person & virtual) Process rental applications and complete screenings (credit/income/background) Coordinate move-ins and prepare lease agreements Maintain accurate leasing pipeline and update CRM/software daily Post and manage listings across rental platforms (Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.) Work closely with property managers to prepare units for occupancy Focus heavily on accelerating lease-ups for 100+ open units Active Illinois real estate license 2+ years experience in leasing & real estate (required) Fluent in Spanish & English Section 8 & affordable housing knowledge Strong follow-up & closing skills Ability to manage high inquiry volume & meet leasing targets Professional, organized, and tenant-focused MLS experience is preferred, but this role is primarily leasing-focused.
