    We are a creative and innovative setting, with loose parts and open-ended resources, allowing staff to create engaging and stimulating learning opportunities for our children.
    We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Speaking Nursery Practitioner to join our amazing team. We have 4 rooms; babies, tweenies, toddlers and preschool. We keep our room numbers low, so along with your colleagues you get plenty of opportunities to get to know the children, build special bonds and really support and encourage their development. Each age group has their own outdoor area attached so you can make regular use of outdoor learning opportunities, as well as our own allotment plot just down the road.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Work with the rooms team to ensure your room runs smoothly, working in partnership with parents and ensuring an engaging environment and effective learning opportunities
  • Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and that all legislation in relation to Health and Safety and Safeguarding is complied with.
  • Be an effective key person
  • Support the delivery of our curriculum in Spanish, ensuring all children are receiving the best opportunities for learning and development
  • Promote our values and challenge any behaviour that goes against them
  • Build excellent relationships with our families to work in partnership with parents/carers
  • Support colleagues in your team and across the setting to ensure a strong team and a nice working environment for all

Experience:
Childcare: 1 year (Required)
Education:
QTS, Degree in Early Years Education or Primary education (Spanish equivalent acceptable), Level 3 diploma (Required)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable*)
·Safeguarding (Desirable*)
·DBS (Desirable*)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 43.5 per week
