BilinguaSing Wokingham and Bracknell is a franchise providing foreign language classes to children in early years settings and primary schools. Our innovative approach to language learning blends music, sensory fun and imaginative games to capture children’s imagination and make learning a foreign language fun and accessible. Due to an increase in demand, we are looking to expand our team and are looking for a teacher for our very popular primary school clubs (lunch and after school) and sessions in nurseries and preschools
Job Title: Spanish Teacher
Are you a fluent Spanish speaker? Do you have experience of working with young children, or do you have children of your own? Would you like to work hours that suit you, to fit around family life? Then becoming a BilinguaSing teacher could be for you!
BilinguaSing offers a new concept in language learning. The classes bring together bilingual music, movement and stimulating, sensory props whilst providing young children an opportunity to learn a new language a comfortable, pressure-free environment.
- Experience in leading groups of young children
- From a teaching, music or drama background
- Fluent Spanish and English speaker (French would be great, but not essential)
- Confident and fun with a good sense of humour!
- Enjoy working with children
- Hard working and committed
- Happy to sing in public (you don’t need to be the next Taylor Swift!)
- Punctual, good time management
- Team player
- Organised
- DBS checked or willing to undergo checks

Responsibilities
  • To deliver the BilinguaSing programme to primary school children
  • To assist in the promotion of classes
  • To take a register at each class
  • To take a genuine interest in every child, learn their names, make them feel welcome
  • To teach a minimum of 2 classes per week (negotiable) at regular venues
  • To work according to the terms as laid out by BilinguaSing
  • To take holidays during BilinguaSing term breaks (similar to school holidays)
  • To positively represent the BilinguaSing brand by wearing the branded T-shirt and providing membership pack to clients as required
  • To undergo training as and when required
  • To report regularly to the franchise owner
  • To take care of props, cleaning and washing as necessary
  • To respect and adhere to health and safety recommendations and fire regulations in settings
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From £30.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 3 – 8 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wokingham, Berkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
