POSITION SUMMARY;

Kinshofer is seeking a Inside Spare Parts Adviser who will contribute to a stimulating and competitive environment while providing solutions to dealers in the Truck Crane /Construction Industry. JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Inside Office Manager / Bookkeeper of Kinshofer North America, the Inside Spare Parts adviser will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist Dealers by looking up parts needed to repair their Kinshofer unit.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and parts knowledge to all existing dealers and new customers via email, phone
  • Review and prepare spare parts quotation and orders
  • Locating required parts through spare parts manual and drawings.
  • Sourcing and ordering parts from specific suppliers or intra-company locations.
  • Communicate lead times, method of shipping and order delays
  • Provide expert advice, support to our dealers.
  • Identify and report potential issues that may impact products
  • Effectively complete assigned tasks, maintain an organized workstation and collaborate with various internal teams to share/implement action items and recommendations.
  • Other related duties as assigned by management

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a 2-year experience as parts adviser in farming equipment or heavy equipment industry, automotive.
  • Basic degree or any relevant qualification
  • Bilingual (French / English) is an asset, knowledge of a third language such as Spanish/ German/ Italian) will be considered an asset as well.
  • Knowledge related to automotive spare parts, accessory sales, vehicle repairs, inventory, and client account management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Data analysis experience with strong analytical skills
  • Able to artfully win concessions and negotiate difficult situations. Initiate and negotiate dealership chargebacks for noncompliant activity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate thoughts, ideas and technical terminology.
  • Ability to adapt easily to different circumstances, individuals, and situations.
  • Experience in Heavy Equipment, automotive or related field preferred with some mechanical, hydraulic knowledge, and ability to navigate and understand parts catalogs, and bill of materials
  • Interpret and understand basic technical publications (bulletins and instruction sheets)
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to regularly handle 15-20 customers per day
