Description

At CareCo, we make every day easier for people.
As the UK’s leading mobility retailer, our goal is to make sure that everybody who needs a helping hand not only gets one, but that they get the one that works for them. A career at CareCo is about being part of a team that helps to achieve that.
Our Parts Storekeepers are responsible for maintaining the stock integrity of all spare parts within the warehouse. This involves booking in and dispatching spare parts, whilst also monitoring and actioning any supplier returns.
This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours over a Monday to Friday week, based out of CareCo’s Braintree site.

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or processing stock through computer software is ideal.
  • Great attention to detail, capable of conducting a thorough process each time it is required.
  • Capable of learning new computer software quickly and correctly.
  • Organised and self-driven, this role will be working alongside another Parts Storekeeper but will require a focused approach to ensure workload is managed and maintained effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure stock levels are correct and in correct locations both virtually and physically.
  • Pick parts for customer orders as well as service callouts and engineer repairs.
  • Completing Parts Requisition Forms for various departments and ensuring this part is actioned thoroughly.
  • To book parts in from suppliers and container shipments accurately and identify any over or under stocks.
  • To be able to work autonomously and be accountable, whilst at the same time recognising when matters need to be referred to a supervisor or manager.
  • Photographing parts and uploading to SharePoint with the correct details included, such as serial number and full image of the part.
  • Ensure faulty parts are handed to our Warranty Team with the correct information to process a claim.
