The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a ‘Spare Parts Coordinator’ to join our busy team in Christchurch. This is a busy role, with the primary focus being the processing, management and maintenance of spare parts and inventory.

You will be responsible for:

  • General adhoc administrative duties such as booking in deliveries and freight shipments.
  • Day to day management and processing of spare parts orders.
  • Development and loading of job packs.
  • Quality assurance of manufactured parts received as appropriate or delegation to tooling staff for checking.
  • Organising parts and locations within the stores and inventory database system (ERP system).
  • Raise and track job orders for internally manufactured items.
  • Liaise with Service Planner and Support for scheduling, manufacturing and tracking of job packs.
  • Ensure Components are made to the drawings, specifications and are suitable for end use.

You will have:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to learn and develop a functional understanding of technical drawings (engineering).
  • A good understanding of computing in a windows environment, and all Microsoft office applications and ability to learn and master our inventory management software.
  • Understanding of plant operations and maintenance, production objectives and mechanical functioning of equipment.
  • A can-do attitude, great communication skills and willingness to grow.
  • The right to live and work permanently in New Zealand.
