Job Title: Experienced Spare Parts Purchaser (Used and New)
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized Spare Parts Purchaser to join our team. This role involves managing the procurement process for spare parts required for vehicle maintenance and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management in new and used spare parts , excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of spare parts inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of Spare Parts: Research and source high-quality spare parts and components required for maintenance or repair projects.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure that the right parts are available when needed.
  • Cost Optimization: Negotiate prices, discounts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and verify that parts are received as per specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that purchased parts meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to understand their needs and ensure spare parts are available on time.
  • Budget Control: Work within budget constraints while maintaining an efficient and responsive supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in spare parts procurement or purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of spare parts specifications, suppliers, and sourcing processes.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
