SPARE PARTS ASSISTANT Sofidel America of Haines City, FL is currently seeking an Spare Parts Assistant to join our maintenance team. Ensure administrative support is provided to execute maintenance purchases activities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * To support Operations dept selecting suppliers and request for offers to purchase good or service within his/her sphere of responsibility, in accordance with the technical requirements concerned. * Create Purchase requisitions for approval for purchase of spare parts and non-spare parts within SAP and follow the approval process * Manage vendor delivery and services of equipment * Manage goods receipt registration for all the cost items of reference. * Support Accounting in Invoices management * Provide support information for budgeting and cost control. * Provide Support to Spare Parts,  Maintenance and Production in all activities of purchasing process * To provide assistance to external contractors in the completion of all building maintenance duties and tasks, if required * Work with various departments and associates to determine purchasing needs * Work with leadership staff to ensure appropriate approvals have been obtained * To promote a corporate culture based on safety * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Including the management of spare parts warehouse and inventory * Other duties as assigned by supervisor   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Ability to develop relationship with co-workers and vendors * Develop and maintain positive relationship with peers and superiors. * Ability to accept instructions and assignments * Experience tracking parts/orders, maintenance, background in manufacturing equipment * Knowledge in data administration * PM knowledge (Preferred) * SAP knowledge (Preferred)   Education and/or Experience High school Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field   Physical Demands and work environment: Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable, prolong standing or in stationary position complete repetitive movements, bend and/or twist, Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds, ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions, wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and head net).   Company Benefits: * Competitive Compensation * Career Advancement Opportunities * Health Insurance * PTO * 401(k) Match (35% match up to 15% employee contribution) * Positive and Safe Work Environment * Life Insurance   Sofidel is an Equal Opportunity Employer Sofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
