Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Program Management Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will act in a technical and strategic role directly supporting the B1 and B2 System Program Offices (SPO’s), in support of all USAF and Defense Logistics Agency and Program Depot Maintenance (PDM) level requirements. In this role you will interface with a variety of internal stakeholders and as well the USAF customer.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 2+ years’ experience working in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Program Management
  • 2+ years’ experience working with Defense Logistics Agency/Air Force
  • Experience working independently and with a cross-functional team
  • Willing & able to travel 10% of the time domestically

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 4+ years’ experience working in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Program Management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Familiarity with Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO) Management

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Experienced
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Senior
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
