JOB SUMMARY
As the Spatial Database Administrator, you will provide ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabase administration and development for the design, enhancement, implementation and operational readiness for MnDOT’s Enterprise Geodatabases. This role provides primary administration spatial data warehouse design, operational standards, and recommends tools to manage data lifecycle and integration. This position works closely with ArcGIS administrators, database administrators, server administrators, spatial data owners, and end users. This position also supports extract, translate, and load (ETL) processes and procedures working with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and their associated PL/SQL languages.
This position requires an employee to be onsite at 395 John Ireland Blvd, St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.

This position requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT related experience providing GIS support and development of data with ESRI desktop software ArcGIS.
Experience must include:
A master’s degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor’s degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate’s degree substitutes for one (1) year.
