THE OPPORTUNITY

ISMG is seeking a Speaker Engagement Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our global cybersecurity and technology summits. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact our audiences by curating powerful agendas and recruiting world-class speakers who are industry leaders and thought provokers.
As the face of ISMG to top CISOs, CIOs, and senior technology executives, you will be responsible for securing high-caliber speakers, cultivating lasting relationships, and ensuring every speaker has a seamless, positive, and professional experience. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a confident executive presence, and a passion for the cybersecurity and technology industries. Speaker Experience & Event Support:

• Guide speakers through onboarding and preparation, providing high-touch support from initial outreach to presentation coaching and post-event follow-up.
• Send timely communications, reminders, and prep materials to ensure speakers are well-prepared.
• Support logistics coordination, including travel and scheduling, to deliver a seamless experience

Speaker Recruitment & Relationship Management:

• Identify and recruit top-tier speakers, with a focus on CISOs, CIOs, and other senior-level technology leaders.
• Conduct outreach (via calls, email, and LinkedIn) to and build strategic, long-term relationships.
• Engage with high-profile executives confidently and credibly, representing ISMG as a trusted industry partner.

Agenda Development & Content Collaboration:

• Partner with the Content team to design event agendas that align with ISMG’s mission and audience interests.
• Ensure all speakers, topics, and abstracts are confirmed at least 90 days prior to each summit.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor programming to ensure ISMG content remains timely and innovative.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in B2B events, with at least 1–2 years focused on speaker management and recruitment.
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or technology events sector strongly preferred.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to confidently engage senior technology and cybersecurity leaders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build credibility quickly.
• Experience collaborating with marketing teams on event promotion and speaker content.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Resilient, adaptable, and solution-oriented with a proactive, detail-driven mindset.
