Jobs in this group are typically responsible for managing the university’s business operations, including project management, financial operations, budgeting, payroll, accounting, and financial reporting. They ensure efficient use of resources, compliance with financial regulations, and provide analysis to support strategic decision-making. These roles are responsible for handling a variety of business and finance tasks across different areas. Staff and leaders in these positions may engage in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and other duties as needed to support the university’s financial operations and strategic goals. Individual contributors with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Spends majority of time leading the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University). Recognized internally as a master in a discipline within the University. Implements initiatives and projects established by School or Division leadership. Develops and implements new processes, standards, or plans to achieve strategies. Problems are frequently complex and sometimes multi-dimensional. Requires ability to influence and communicate with executives. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in a financial discipline required. Licensure: None, unless as required by position as specified. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The starting base rate for this role is $140,000.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
