UGL have an opportunity for experienced Special Class Welders to join our team. This role will be based at our site in Barrow Island. The Gorgon LNG facility incorporates the world’s largest CCS system. Naturally occurring carbon dioxide (CO2) is taken from offshore gas reservoirs and injected into a sandstone bedrock formation two kms beneath Barrow Island, where it remains permanently trapped. As part of the UGL Co2 Project team, you will play a key role in the delivery of a high profile, pioneering project. You will need to have demonstrated significant experience working in a similar role, within an Oil & Gas, Brownfield & Greenfield environment. Ideally you will be located in the greater Perth area.
