BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, ACTIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) to support high school students in a dynamic educational setting in Cliffside Park, NJ. This contract position offers the chance to work full-time or part-time with a dedicated caseload ranging from 65 to 75 students throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing to assess students learning needs and challenges.
  • Manage individual cases effectively, ensuring detailed documentation and follow-up.
  • Collaborate in developing and participating in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to advocate for tailored educational plans.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid New Jersey LDTC license is required.
  • Experience working with high school students is preferred.
