BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, ACTIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A contracting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher serving students in grades K-12. These roles require dedication to supporting diverse learners through specialized instructional strategies tailored to meet individual education plans.

Available positions include:

  • Special Education Teacher for 1st-3rd grade students at an elementary school setting.
  • Special Education and ESL Teacher supporting multiple language learners.
  • Special Education Teacher for students in grades 6-12 at a secondary school campus.

Candidates must hold a valid Special Education teaching license and indicate their preferred location when applying. Each site focuses on fostering inclusive learning environments to support the academic and social development of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and curriculum standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adapt instructional materials and assessments.
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with educational requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with families to promote student growth and engagement.
  • Employ evidence-based strategies to support varying learning styles and behavioral challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience teaching specified grade levels or programs (ESL/Language Learners for some sites).
  • Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Locations:

  • Elementary level (1st-3rd grade) position in Fort Worth, TX.
  • Dual SPED/ESL role at an elementary campus in Fort Worth, TX.
  • Secondary level (6th-12th grade) position in San Antonio, TX.
