BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, ACTIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A specialized teaching position is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher dedicated to supporting young learners with significant needs. This role is based in an elementary school setting, serving students in kindergarten through 2nd grade. The position is contracted for the current school year, with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 13 students, providing individualized instruction and support tailored to their unique learning requirements. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with severe caseloads, specifically with students on the autism spectrum. Autism certification is a mandatory qualification for this role.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification in Special Education with an emphasis on autism
• Experience managing a severe caseload of students with diverse and complex needs
• Expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for K-2 students
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, therapists, and families
