A full-time Intervention Specialist position is available in a supportive K8 school in Cincinnati, OH. This role focuses on providing specialized academic interventions primarily to K5 students, utilizing mostly pull-out services with some push-in support according to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The position runs from ASAP through May 26, 2026, with a schedule of 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized academic instruction aligned with IEP goals to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Conduct pull-out sessions and provide push-in support in general education settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success.
  • Develop, adapt, and implement instructional materials and evidence-based interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress monitoring, and ensure IEP compliance.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and planning sessions.
  • Support accommodations and modifications in the classroom to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required.
  • Experience working with K5 students is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
