A full-time Special Education Case Manager position is available for the 2025/2026 school year at an elementary school in the Austin, TX area. This contract role involves managing a caseload of 10-12 students with disabilities, focusing on mild to moderate intensity behavior intervention and providing support throughout their general education classrooms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Case management of assigned special education students, ensuring their individualized education plans (IEPs) are implemented effectively.
  • Teaching social skills and providing positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborating with general education teachers and staff to support students inclusion and success.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager.
  • Knowledge of behavior intervention techniques for students with disabilities, including mild to moderate intensity programs.
  • Ability to provide social skills instruction and positive behavior support within an inclusive classroom setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educators.
