Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide exceptional support to elementary students in Pelham, AL. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students abilities
• Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress
• Monitoring and documenting student growth and adapting instructional methods accordingly
• Managing classroom behavior while promoting a positive and supportive learning atmosphere
• Utilizing specialized strategies and tools to address diverse learning challenges

Desired qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged children requiring individualized support
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
• Ability to differentiate instruction and use various assessment techniques
• Patience, creativity, and a commitment to student success
