BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION, ACTIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to support elementary students in a Special Education setting within a dynamic school environment in Scottsdale, AZ. The role is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year, starting on August 4, 2025, and concluding on May 22, 2026. The schedule is flexible, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week and 3 to 5 days weekly, providing work-life balance tailored to your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of elementary-aged students with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies to ensure optimal educational outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Valid Arizona teaching certificate with SPED Cross-Categorical certification.
  • Bachelors degree minimum requirement.
  • SEI endorsement.
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Successful completion of background check upon hire.
