An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students within a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2026, providing a stable and meaningful role for an educator committed to making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with high incidence disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and families to support student success.
  • Use data-driven strategies and evidence-based practices to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular assessments and reports.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Assist in preparing students for post-secondary education and career readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education licensure High Incidence required.
  • Experience working with high school students in special education.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
