QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).
• Previous experience working with children, particularly students with autism or special needs.
• Knowledge of ABA principles or willingness to complete training.
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated ABA Paraeducator to join our school team for the upcoming school year. The ABA Paraeducator will work directly with students with autism and other special needs, supporting them in the classroom, reinforcing behavioral plans, and promoting academic and social success under the supervision of special education staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and collect data on student progress.
• Assist students in meeting IEP (Individualized Education Plan) goals in both academic and social areas.
• Support classroom teachers in creating a structured, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff training and team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and student safety procedures.
