The paraprofessional performs any combination of instructional tasks in a classroom to assist in making the school setting effective and efficient wherever and whenever possible.Discusses assigned teaching area with classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts.Plans, prepares, and develops various teaching aids such as bibliographies, charts, and graphs.Presents subject matter to students, utilizing various methods and techniques such as lecture, discussion, and supervised role-playing.Assists students as assigned, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts. Assist the teacher in preparing the room for school and in keeping the classroom neat and orderly.Help prepare and distribute lesson materials;Assist the teacher in arranging bulletin boards, class displays, learning center materials, parent notices, etcAssist in storing materials and getting classroom ready for closing of school; and*Any other duties as required by the Classroom Teacher
